We published research in October 2021 with YouGov - 38% of the adult population in the UK don't know what secondary breast cancer is.
This highlights the massive gap in awareness and education of secondary breast cancer and the work that needs done to change this.
Education is an integral part in everything that we do and we aim to:
-
Raise awareness of secondary breast cancer through effective marketing and education programmes across the UK
-
Lead and contribute to national campaigns and events
-
Assist patients to access clinical trials through our Patient Trial Advocacy service.
-
Empower patients through increasing their knowledge and understanding of research, treatments and options
-
Strengthen our patient champion programme
-
Build our capacity and sustainability through growing and developing our partnership and collaboration with other charities and organisations
