We're delighted to be joining forces with passionate local patient, Su Pierce, to establish a regular monthly, in person, TEA & A CHAT meet up group for secondary breast cancer patients in Hereford.
Our support groups give patients the chance to share experiences and advice, and forge new friendships.
Our meetings will be held regularly on the first Wednesday of every month, 10am - 1pm.

"I first came to the Hereford Tea and Chat about 6 months after my diagnosis. What a lovely, friendly welcoming bunch! I've also been lucky enough to go on a Make2ndsCount well-being retreat. I find everyone's support invaluable, especially being able to sit and chat over a cuppa to people who are going through the same thing. It's great to be able to talk about stuff without having to explain or give reasons for how I'm feeling. It is down to Sam, our original host who sadly died in July 2024, that the Hereford group was set up and has the welcoming, light-hearted and supportive feel that it does. Our catch ups are a real highlight to my month, thanks Make2ndsCount."
In loving memory of our founder group host, Sam Kelly.
"Since being diagnosed with SBC, I've struggled to obtain any support. If I have, I am sure that others have too. That's why it's important for me to bring people together."
Sam Kelly, Tea & A Chat founding Hereford host.
The Iron Fund (via the Herefordshire Community Foundation) have pledged funds towards the Tea & Chat Hereford group for 1 year (2024).
Thank you so much for helping us provide this much needed support for the secondary breast cancer community in the Hereford area.
