Next month sees the launch of one of our new fundraising challenges: Abseiling the Falkirk Wheel! Lianne from the Make 2nds Count Fundraising Team will be taking part in this epic challenge to raise money to help support secondary breast cancer patients.

‘Staying Alive: A Book Of Hope’
‘Staying Alive: A Book Of Hope’ is a poetry book which was created by Seren Haf, Rachel Woods, Jill Davies and Lorraine Burroughs. This book has been created by women living with a secondary cancer diagnosis and shares their experiences through creative writing to offer strength and wisdom to anyone else affected by secondary cancer.
Ben Nevis Climb by McCann Health London
McCann Health London have been great supporters of Make 2nds Count and on 16th September 2023 they took a team of 30 employees to climb Ben Nevis. Louise Hewitt, Copy Director at McCann Health London has shared her fundraising story with us.
Anne Blacklock's Fundraiser for Make 2nds Count
Anne Blacklock from Cheshire is one of Make 2nds Count Ambassadors and is the host of our Tea and a Chat group in Manchester. Anne decided to organise a Cabaret Show in aid of Make 2nds Count in the hope of raising £3,000.00.
Golden Valley Half Marathon Charity Walk
'Golden Valley Half Marathon Charity Walk' also known as 'Carols Walk'. On Saturday 10th June 2023 Carol Goring and a very capable band of friends and family organised a walk to celebrate life, raise awareness about secondary breast cancer and raise funds for Make 2nds Count and other local cancer charities.
Race to the Stones 2023 - Craig Duff's story
Craig took part in Race to the Stones which is a 100km ultramarathon from Lewknor to Avebury with 2 of his colleagues to raise funds for M2C following his wife Gemma's secondary breast cancer diagnosis in 2019. Here you can read more of Craig’s story.
Ed Hodges Fundraising Challenges 2023
Ed Hodges is one of our amazing fundraisers and, this year, he will be undertaking a series of challenges for Make 2nds Count. He has recently completed 51 Fiver Triathlon in May and Endure 24 Reading in June.
