There is no one way to live well with secondary breast cancer. Our campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026: “My Life, My Way” celebrates the stories of how life continues beyond diagnosis — on individual terms. It will deliberately avoid a single narrative of positivity or resilience. Instead, it offers permission: to live well on your own terms, in ways that change over time.
Living well can and should include rest, limits, grief, joy, purpose, good days and bad days. Examples may include people who value keeping active, nurturing relationships, faith or spirituality, meaningful work, parenting, grandparenting, creativity, hobbies, food and nourishment, rest, or simply getting through the day.
We would appreciate you completing this questionnaire so that we can get an understanding of what it means to 'live well' in your own terms with secondary breast cancer.
Thank you, from the Make 2nds Count team
